 Position Summary: To provide quality on-ground instruction (possible online) for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned. 3. Submitting requests through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. 4. Evaluating the academic progress of students. 5. Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook. 6. Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required. 7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Programming and Database teaching field

Title: Faculty – Aviation Operations Technology (Tenure-Track)

This is a full-time, tenure track, Faculty position in the Technologies Department. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The appointee is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus. The faculty member must be knowledgeable and able to instruct in the following technical subject areas: aerodynamics, meteorology, aircraft systems, safety management systems, airline industry, flight operations management, human factors, and aircraft structures. The individual must be able to conduct flight training on the simulators. The faculty member must be familiar with using a Learning Management System for conducting face-to-face and online classes. The faculty member will be responsible for the coordinating, planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities, including overseeing all compliance requirements of the FAR Part 141 standards. The faculty member will also manage agreements with flight training providers with the goal of increasing student completions in the pilot program. 
Job Duties

SummaryReporting to the Co-President of Business Operations, the Executive Director of Online Operations is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of online education for West Coast University. The Executive Director of Online Operations is responsible for collaboratively analyzing, developing and implementing a business model which provides successful strategies for attraction, retention and achieving positive student outcomes while advancing fiscal results. The Executive Director of Online Operations additionally plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of online education. The role will work in close partnership with Academic leaders and shared services partners to develop scalable high quality online educational programs, including the identification of new programs.
