A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Faculty also provide academic advising and facilitate student success. Technology tools are routinely used to communicate with and support students.
Faculty participate in divisional and institutional activities related to the college’s mission, engage with communities of interest, and promote college programs.
All positions are onsite-in-person unless specifically noted.
Essential Functions:
1. Deliver instruction in a variety of modes, including on-line, and evaluate student learning. 2. Maintain an environment conducive to learning. 3. Required Qualifications&nbsp; 1. Masters degree in Nursing&nbsp; 2. BLS/AHA CPR certification or higher (ACLS/PALS) 3. Tennessee RN License (or immediately eligible) 4. 3 years recent clinical experience serving a diverse population Doctorate and higher education experience preferred.

Job Summary
This is a part-time, grant-funded, temporary position in the Workforce and Community Solutions department. Southwest Tennessee Community College aims to employ part-time instructional supporters/tutors to provide learning support, course reinforcement, and coaching to students in one or more of the qualified subject areas. Part-time instruction supporters/tutors will provide tutoring sessions and/or perform front desk duties. Supplemental instruction is a non-traditional method of tutoring that provides group study support outside the classroom through discrete study sessions to supplement the in-class lessons. Part-time instruction supporters/tutors are responsible for attending all lectures for their assigned class(es) and providing two 1-hour study sessions per week. Peer supplemental instruction leaders/tutors will also serve as role models for other Southwest students. 
Job Duties

<li>Attend mandatory training sessions as required by the grant and Southwest.</li>
<li>Maintain tutoring records in software system.</li>
<li>Assist students with supplemental assignments and projects.</li>
<li>Have a willingness to work well as a team member with our population of students, staff, faculty, and community members.</li>
<li>Provide, plan, and facilitate study sessions to students as needed.</li>
<li>Communicate with supervisory personnel and instructors as needed.</li>

Job Title: Workforce Training Adjunct Instructor of Industrial Electricity
Campus Location:&nbsp;Workforce Training Greeneville Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.)
Job Purpose:&nbsp;The overall purpose of this position is to provide industrial electricity training for troubleshooting problems of the kinds likely to be experienced in an industrial environment. This job may provide training or troubleshooting as it relates to PLC support and/or programming (if applicable).
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Teach industrial electricity / PLC troubleshooting courses. Courses are offered primarily for conventional in-person classes with potential for some Hybrid or Desktop Video Courses through Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other technology.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepare or review course syllabi or develop customized outlines for business and industry customers as needed.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform required training for adjunct and work within institution’s policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>

Master’s degree in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date. Three years of Community College teaching experience.&nbsp;
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus; Teach dual enrollment classes at area high school as assigned; Travel to multiple campuses as assigned</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, Department Lead, and curriculum chair about curricular and programmatic issues and needs</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, administration and staff to support the students, strategic plan, goals and business operations of the college; Work collegially as part of both discipline-specific and multidisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Stay abreast of current developments in the teaching discipline including scholarship, creative research, disciplinary and interdisciplinary activities that focus on the boundaries of knowledge, community-based scholarship, creative activities, and the development of cutting-edge teaching approaches</li>
