<li>Using Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and responding to student questions via Cleveland State email in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Meeting deadlines for all administrative requests such as submitting personnel paperwork, acknowledging contracts, academic activity and assessment reports, and final grades.</li>
<li>Submitting requests through the department chair, program coordinator/director, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids.</li>
<li>May require the preparation of culture media, chemicals, reagents, and solutions.</li>
<li>May require set up of laboratories with required supplies, materials, and equipment such as media, cultures, and electronic and mechanical apparatus, as needed.</li>
<li>Operate laboratory equipment such as autoclave, sterilizing oven, dishwasher, balances, filtration appliances, pH meters, timers, vortex mixers, etc.</li>
</ul>

<li>Clean, sterilize, and store laboratory equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain appropriate office hours, and secure approval for any commitments which might affect employment.</li>
<li>Comply with Cleveland State Community College and Tennessee Board of Regents Guidelines and Policies.</li>
<li>Participate in periodic evaluations.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications:&nbsp;

<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Science field required.</li>
<li>Ability to use personal computers for word processing/ inventories/ OCR, etc., required.</li>

      Adjunct Faculty - Math (College Level)
    

Title: Adjunct Instructor – Early Childhood Education (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in Early Childhood Education

Title: Adjunct Instructor – Clinical Nursing (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses and laboratories as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Work with program, semester and/or course coordinators to facilitate communication with clinical sites and coordinate clinical schedules. Assist in the selection of program equipment. Participate in the development, evaluation, revision and accreditation of courses, programs and curricula. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Nursing Active RN license in Tennessee or approved compact state Evidence of clinical expertise in a related field
