Director of Communications for the ArtsSUMMARY:The Director of Communications for the Arts works collaboratively with the Executive Director of the Modlin Center, the Executive Director of University Museums, and the faculty in art and art history, music, theater &amp; dance departments, and University Communications to develop and contribute to strategic messaging, marketing, and communications for the arts at the University of Richmond. The Director leads, develops, and oversees strategic communications for the Modlin Presenting series, University Museums, and the academic arts departments at UR to enhance the visibility of the arts at Richmond on campus and in the community, and to promote arts related programming, events, and stories. Job Summary
This is a full-time, ten-month, term-contract faculty appointment in the Computer &amp; Information Technology program within the Business, Computer and Information Systems Division. Bluegrass Community and Technical College is designated as a NSA/DHS Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense through the CIT program, the position requires flexibility of scheduling which will include both on-campus and online classes and is intended to fulfill our networking instruction needs. 




Job Duties:
• Lead in-person and online instruction related to Computer and Information Technology. • Maintain at least five in-person office hours per week. Advise current and prospective students for program and career-related counseling. • Participate in recruitment and retention activities. • Participate in department and college committee as assigned. Provide input regarding curriculum development and enhancement. • Complete all required College and KCTCS mandatory trainings in addition to attending other professional development activities relevant to personal interest. • Develop and maintain a working relationship with local industry. • Enforce high expectations related to professional behavior (including punctuality, respect for leadership, teamwork, and written/verbal communication skills). • Other duties as required.
