Job Summary
The Chief Access and Compliance Officer supports the Vice Chancellor in the efficient and effective operation of the Office of Student Success and Strategic Partnerships. The Chief Access and Compliance Officer—Support, Training, and Compliance will be responsible for supporting the 13 community colleges and 24 colleges of applied technology, as well as the system office, in preventing discrimination and providing opportunities for all students. The DSIO will provide leadership and training for colleges and the system office in the areas of Title VI, Title IX, and Methods of Administration (MOA) compliance. This position reports to and supports the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Support Services and works in concert with system office leaders and personnel, as well as senior level administrators, staff, faculty and students to meet compliance obligations efficiently and effectively and foster ethical behavior and a culture of integrity. The position will serve as the Title VI Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator and will have primary responsibilities at the system office for non-discrimination training, including providing leadership and coordination necessary for implementation of major components of non-discrimination compliance within the TBR system. The position provides leadership and guidance on development and implementation of federal student and employee compliance topics, with an emphasis on helping the colleges’ Title IX Coordinators. The AVC is a service-based role assisting other stakeholders with systemwide projects and initiatives and will also conduct investigations into allegations of discrimination involving employees and students as needed. The position must possess the ability to build consensus and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel with a combination of tenacity and tact. The AVC will develop, coordinate, and support cross-functional and system-wide ongoing learning opportunities related to non-discrimination and inclusion; as well as develop, coordinate, and support targeted conferences, workshops and training. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges. 
Job Duties

<li>35% - Serve as system training and compliance officer for Title VI, Title IX (as Deputy Title IX Coordinator), and MOA; providing leadership and support in coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of cross-functional, system-wide focused initiatives. In this capacity, the DSIO serves as the system office liaison with college Title VI and Title IX officers, providing leadership, guidance and other resources as needed; it also conducts investigations; and writes required reports; administers annual training programs for system staff and students including Title IX training to all institutions and TBR System Office; administers Title VI staff training, climate surveys, and other specialized training as identified. - (Essential)</li>

Minimum Qualifications

Job Summary
The Prison Education Program (PEP)/Transitions Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation and management of College Jail/Prison Education Program inside of the Kentucky Department of Corrections facilities: Bell County Forestry Camp as well as supporting the county jail program on the technical campus (with bi-monthly check-ins). Anitcipated start date January 1, 2025. This position is grant funded for Spring 2025 and hard money afterwards.




Job Duties:
 Recruitment/Retention of PEP Students: work with Admissions/Recruitment team to coordinate recruitment events to ensure completion of FAFSA, SKCTC Application, and Registration forms (including mailing and data entry of student applications/registration forms working with faculty/deans). Assist with federal and state report requirements and maintain required financial and student record PEP Student College Support: Meets weekly/bi-weekly with all PEP students. Provides advocacy for students with faculty. Maintain regular interaction and engagement with PEP students and staff. Maintaining at least 3 days onsite at the Bell County Forestry Camp facility. Ensure all PEP students appear on rosters correctly. Provides tutoring support/connections, disability support with ADA office, and DOC IT staff for any technical issues. PEP Student Transition Support: Provide resources/support for PEP students to be released with re-entry program and regular follow-up check-ins after released for at least 6 months. Provides overall support for enrollment, transfer, career, and re-entry processes. Collaboration and Communication: Keeps all parties informed through intrusive communication (faculty of PEP courses, DOC/jail officials, PEP students, College personnel, and others) to ensure student support with any concerns, issues, or additional assistance in enrolled courses. Participate in all related PEP meetings. Assists the CAO with all applicable standards including MOAs, MOUs, faculty credentialling files, and off-site visits. Professional Development: Attend required Department of Corrections Training and facility training, all updated training as needed; attends college related training; and other specific training related to the position. Provide workshops about PEP to college population for greater understanding.
