Job Summary
Gateway Community &amp; Technical College is seeking an exceptional and energetic individual as an instructor in our Computer Information Technology (CIT) program. The ideal candidate must be willing to teach and mentor the next generation of IT professionals through teaching excellence, quality advising, and relationship/partnership building with local businesses and industries. The ideal candidate must be willing to set standards of excellence in the industry and maintain continuous contact with the area business and industry community to ensure Gateway remains current with job entry requirements, current CIT technology trends, and equipment.




Job Duties:

<li>Teach assigned courses in CIT fundamentals, hardware/software, and network administration. Other courses may be possible depending on the candidate’s specialization.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in computer information technology, information technology, or a substantially related field. Candidates with an associate degree in information technology and substantial industry experience will be considered.

<li>Current IT industry certifications (CompTIA Net+ or higher &amp; Microsoft Azure – or other similar certifications) or willingness to obtain industry certifications (college funded).

Job Summary This position will provide a variety of specialty pharmacy services including obtaining prior authorizations, enrolling patients’ in financial support programs, and coordinating first time dispenses and refills for specialty medications prescribed within UK HealthCare. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and UK Specialty Pharmacy staff to improve access to medications for a variety of sub specialty disease states.
