The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Financial Support Associate 3 – Cashier/Bookstore for the Clarksville Campus. This is not a remote work position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service, cash-handling or sales.</li>
<li>Must possess the communication skills necessary to effectively and tactfully interact with the public and employees at all levels.</li>
<li>Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications.</li>
<li>Good math skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal direct supervision.</li>
</ul>
GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Financial Support Associate 3 will be responsible for a range of tasks in a fast-paced office setting. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Serving as primary cashier, balancing cash drawer daily, preparing and delivering bank deposits.</li>
<li>Creating invoices and sales receipts for bookstore sales.</li>
<li>Assisting bookstore manager with ordering, receiving, stocking and conducting inventory of items for sale.</li>
<li>Pre-packaging then distributing books and supplies to students on start dates.</li>
<li>Serving as back-up support for general purchasing approvals.</li>
<li>General office tasks such as filing, creating reports, data entry, answering calls and e-mails, scanning/copying, submitting forms and documents in a timely manner, etc.</li>
<li>Some travel may be required.</li>
</ul>
Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position reports to the Vice President of Fiscal Services.

SALARY: $28,449-$35,561 per year ($14.59-$18.24 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines, education and related experience.

<li>Minimum of three years of experience in the instructional area.</li>
<li>Teaching, training or salon management experience preferred.</li>

<li>Must be willing and available to work as needed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays.</li>

SKILLS – All Programs:

<li>Must show evidence of good character, organizational skills, and mature attitude.</li>
<li>Computer skills preferred.</li>
</ul>
GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; Substitutes provide classroom support on an as-needed basis, sometime with little advance notice. This position should ensure student training is conducted utilizing all appropriate safety measures. The substitute will facilitate continued training for students in the absence of the full-time instructor. &nbsp;Potential applicants with varied work experience may qualify to substitute in more than one program.
