Title: Laboratory Technician, Humphreys County Campus and Dickson Campus
POSITION SUMMARY This position provides a broad range of specialized laboratory support and guidance to full-time faculty and adjuncts for laboratory science courses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently under the direction of science faculty. Sets up supplies, materials and equipment for biology and chemistry laboratories, both for individual stations and for instructor-led demonstrations. Prepares specimens, cultures and slides for biology, anatomy and physiology and microbiology labs. Operates the autoclave and other associated lab equipment.
Assists with and maintains inventory in the science area at the Humphreys County campus and Dickson campus. Assists other campuses with inventory of equipment as needed. Title: Instructor, Industrial Process Control Technology – 9/10 Month (Term)
POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, faculty are expected to teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold in person and virtual office hours as defined in College Policy. Title: Temporary - Evening Coordinator, Dickson Campus
POSITION SUMMARY Serves as the primary point of contact for basic administrative, instructional and facilities support for evening operations at the Dickson Campus. Acts as an evening resource for faculty, staff and students and responds to emergencies during evening hours.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Is the principal point of contact for evening operations. Facilitates the use of campus facilities during evening hours. Acts as a liaison between campus director, faculty, staff and students to facilitate evening operations. Ensures that the campus is supervised and high traffic areas are overseen during evening hours.
In the event of an emergency during evening hours of operation, executes campus emergency procedures and communicates with various college personnel and/or external agencies as the situation and/or protocols warrant. Keeps the campus director and other appropriate college personnel informed of any incidents or concerns that arise during the evening. Manages projects as directed by the campus director. Monitors the campus phone and campus email inbox while on duty. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree
One year experience in an administrative support role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in higher education
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work effectively with co-workers, faculty and students. Ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision. Ability to multi-task and be responsive to time-sensitive requests. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday through Thursday evenings, up to 18 hours per week
