The Career and Academic Community (CAC) Manager is responsible for implementation of the Southwest integrated academic and career advising model and the scaling, oversight and operation of the resultant Southwest Career and Academic Community program within their designated academic division. The Manager is accountable for the program’s efficacy as well as retention and persistence benchmarks established by college administration. CAC Managers play a critical role in collaborating with campus leadership; specifically, working across the student affairs and academic affairs divisions to ensure the delivery of high-quality collaborative programs and services that meet the needs of the College’s students. The CAC Managers work closely with the Director of Academic Advising and Career Services to identify best practices, inform ongoing professional development and training, manage advising technology platforms, and develop programs and processes that respond to emerging student needs. Supervisory and Other Relationships 
CAC Managers report to the Director of Academic Advising and Career Services. They are annually evaluated by the Director in collaboration with the AVP of Enrollment Management. The position involves direct supervision and evaluation of three to five Academic Advisors / Student Success Advocates and oversight of the advising program for the designated academic division.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Support the development of recommendations, strategies and policies related to implementing a case management advising model for the college that aligns with Guided Pathways principles.</li>
<li>Oversee implementation of integrated academic and career advising model and resultant Career and Academic Communities program for assigned academic division ensuring consistent, high-quality service.</li>
<li>Administer programs to encourage students to seek advising each semester, engage in transfer opportunities, and explore employment options.</li>
<li>Supervise assigned team of academic advisors and provide strategic support for advising programming, case load management, technology, hiring, and staff training/development.</li>
<li>Complete annual evaluation and goal-setting activities for assigned staff.</li>
<li>Partner with Institutional Research and Effectiveness for an annual evaluation of the CAC program.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, evaluate, revise (as necessary) a professional development program based on the NACADA Academic Advising Core Competencies Model.</li>
<li>Review and analyze advising data in collaboration with fellow CAC Managers to make program/practice improvements.</li>
<li>Convene assigned academic advisors to review and analyze data, identify trends, set benchmarks and establish best practices.</li>

Title: Instructor of Nursing 12 Month/Simulation and Skills Lab Coordinator (Term)

This position is responsible for providing guidance, instruction, and leadership to registered nursing students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing program at the assigned program sites. Primary responsibilities include development and implementation of skills lab and simulation activities in collaboration with the dean of nursing and faculty and maintaining the labs and their inventory. Assist with evaluation, scheduling, and advising of students. Provide classroom and clinical instruction to students enrolled in the AASN program utilizing team teaching methodology in an academic environment.
Job Duties:
Teach 10-20 hours per year via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities as assigned. Collaborate with faculty in the simulation/skills lab to develop activities, program and run simulations, provide student instruction, and evaluate student performance. Maintain open lab hours with availability to students for instruction, supervision, and skills evaluation. Act as a resource and provide support and instruction for students in the skills lab requiring additional assistance. Instruction may include any relevant nursing concept or skill: Including but not limited to personal hygiene, client abuse, human sexuality, cultural diversity, ethnicity, nutrition (nursing, therapeutic aspects), pharmacology, legal, social and ethical aspects of nursing, nursing leadership and management. Provide clinical instruction as needed. Supervise student lab workers. Monitor supply budget through collaboration with the dean of nursing, maintain supply inventory, and order supplies. Receive and assemble lab equipment and supplies. Maintain all lab equipment, computers, simulators, troubleshoot as necessary, and collaborate with appropriate companies for maintenance and upgrades. Develop and provide simulation training to faculty as necessary and act as simulation expert to faculty Maintain records and create reports related to the simulation and skills lab training, simulations, skills, equipment, and supplies. Develop, administer, and evaluate student performance as necessary to determine student level of performance and understanding, using evaluations to revise and update content, objectives, and instructional strategies. Coordinate student clinical placements and verify/submit student requirements in collaboration with faculty and dean of nursing. Participate in division activities associated with the instructional program. Communicate clearly with students and colleagues. Work effectively with traditional and non-traditional students including but not limited to the culturally and ethnically diverse. Demonstrate a willingness and commitment to extra-curricular responsibilities on behalf of the department of nursing, college and district. Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college and at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline OR a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college and actively enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing program. Must be endorsed with appropriate credentials of and unencumbered RN licensure in the State of Tennessee, CPR certification for healthcare professionals, and experience in nursing practice. Minimum of three years related work experience as an RN. 
Preferred Qualifications:
