Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or related field required. Must be a graduate of an ADA accredited Dental Hygiene program. Possess a current TN license as a dental hygienist or be license eligible. Have a minimum of three years of full-time private practice experience. Have current CPR certification or complete prior to beginning position. Have minimal computer skills such as ability to utilize Word, PowerPoint, and email. Able to perform normal duties with minimal supervision. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrate ability to work harmoniously with the staff, faculty, and public and perform normal duties with minimal supervision. . Possess a working knowledge of dental office practice management software such as EagleSoft and dental imaging software preferred. Possess prior knowledge of educational methodology (preferred) or willingness to complete required educational methodology assignments. Demonstrate willingness to learn new instructional techniques and technologies.

As a department, Campus police are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Hardin Valley Campus, and answer the emergency calls to 865.694.6649 at any hour.&nbsp;
Per TCA 49-7-118 “Campus police officer” means a person commissioned by an employing institution, school, or board and rendered an oath to provide police services, enforce law, exercise arrest authority and carry firearms, and thus is subject to the Tennessee POST commission.
In addition to safety at the college, campus police officers offer other services to students, visitors and employees:

Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the college.&nbsp;
Essential Functions:
30% Patrols college grounds and adjacent areas on foot and in motor vehicle to deter crime. Enforce Tennessee State Laws and policies and guidelines set by Pellissippi State Community College, the Tennessee Board of Regents, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Higher Education Act. ​Apprehends criminal offenders and effect arrests as necessary. Maintains all department issued equipment.
25% Conducts investigations into criminal activity, motor vehicle accidents, illness and injuries. Prepare Police police reports, motor vehicle accident reports, and reports documenting illness or injury. Prepare records for court and testify at judicial hearings and trials. Monitors and reviews security camera recordings to assist in investigations and to ensure safety for the campus community. Performs additional clerical tasks as required.
10% Provides direction, supervision and training for contract security guards. Trains PSCC contract security guards on proper patrol techniques, unlocking and locking down college buildings, conducting basic investigations and report writing, and emergency plans and procedures. ​
10% Inspects college property for safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, unsecured doors or other unusual events. Unlocks doors to classrooms, offices and other secured areas of the college for authorized persons. Provides vehicle unlock and jump starts service to the campus community.
5% Perform tasks related to emergency incidents, emergency drills, and the college Emergency Response Plan. Provides mutual police assistance, upon request, to local police agencies to assist in large scale emergencies. ​
5% Provides first aid and direction in emergency situations and coordinates emergency response by EMS, fire, and outside police agencies. Inspects and ensures proper operation of emergency and security related equipment.

The police officer is required to wear a ballistic vest under the authorized uniform and a duty belt around their waist that supports their firearm and holster and other required equipment. The total weight of the ballistic vest, firearm and other equipment weighs approximately 25 pounds. ​The police officer is required to be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time, walk long distances around campus and climb at least three flights of stairs without becoming exhausted. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program director position is a full-time core faculty member of the RSCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program’s master plan of education.

Job Duties
<ul>
<li>The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program director position is a full-time core faculty member of the RSCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. In addition to the duties and responsibilities as a full-time faculty at RSCC (PA-24-01), the DMS program director is responsible for:</li>
<li>Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program’s master plan of education.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinating the development, implementation, and revision process for the program’s curriculum design; including but not limited to, course descriptions, course requirements, and evaluation systems.</li>
<li>Developing program evaluation to ensure ongoing effectiveness through outcomes assessment of quality indicators.</li>
<li>Preparing and maintaining the program budget within established parameters as needed for the program.</li>
<li>Overseeing the evaluation, maintenance, selection, and purchase of educational materials and equipment to meet the needs of the program.</li>
<li>Collaborating with the Diagnostic Medical Sonography faculty to meet the needs of students and program assessment.</li>
<li>Assisting in the process of interviewing, selecting and mentoring faculty.</li>
<li>Interviewing, selecting, mentoring and evaluating adjunct faculty who teach courses within the program under the general supervision.</li>
<li>Counseling and advising prospective and current students.</li>
<li>Serving as a liaison between the program and affiliates/community stakeholders.</li>
<li>Assisting in reviewing affiliation agreements as needed.</li>

Position Summary: Pellissippi State Community College is seeking qualified contract instructors for its Workforce and Community Development Programs to meet the needs of our area workforce. We provide customized training for entry level employees as well as for professional advancement. Specific training is conducted at the request of business and industry partners. We also offer open enrollment courses for individuals seeking to upgrade their skills.
 Instructors work on a part-time, temporary contract to provide educational instruction for a specific class, workforce training, or youth camp. Instructors are expected to be subject matter experts on their topic, will be responsible for delivery of instruction, and may be responsible for developing instructional materials.
 Typical instructional areas include Electrical/Mechanical, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, PLCs, Robotics, Welding, Industrial Maintenance, Tool and Die, Construction Trades, OSHA, Lean Six Sigma, NFPA70E, Logistics/Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, Networking, Data Analytics, Project Management, Leadership, Supervisory Management, Microsoft Office, and Excel. This is not an all-inclusive list of instructional areas. Actual courses may vary depending on community or industry demand.
 Current and retired industry leaders and past military personnel with technical training and the ability to teach are strongly encouraged to apply!

Position Summary: To increase student success and retention through collaborative learning.

Location: The location will depend on which campus the SI/Peer Tutoring supported class is taught. Hardin Valley campus will use the SI Room, Peer Tutoring Math Lab, and/or Study Rooms in the ERC. Other locations vary.
Pay Rate: Amount of pay per hour according to academic level. • Peer Tutor (Student Employment Program) $13.00 – no experience; $14.00- 6 months experience; $15.00- 9 months experience • Tutor I (Less than 1 year experience) $15.38 • Tutor II (1-3 years of experience) $17.00 • Tutor II (3+ year &amp; experience) $19.00
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. 80% Tutor students individually and in groups.
2. 5% Complete tutor training activities.

4. 10% Complete documentation of tutoring activities.

90% – Tutor students&nbsp;individually and in groups. Adapt tutoring methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Tutor through questioning, discussion, and demonstration. 4% – Complete tutor training activities and submit required paperwork.

2% – Visit classes and attend events to promote tutoring services. 1% – Confer with other tutors and teachers to resolve students’ problems.

G. Tutors must be able to utilize some computer applications, including use of&nbsp;the Internet. Non-Essential Functions:
