The Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management (VPSEM) is a full-time fiscal position reporting directly to the President of Southwest Tennessee Community College. The VPSEM will create and implement a strategic enrollment plan that aligns with the College’s mission. The VPSEM has primary responsibility to provide leadership, strategic direction, policy development and administrative oversight of the Student Affairs division. The VPSEM will lead all units in developing and sustaining a seamless, integrated student experience from pre-enrollment through career/transfer for Southwest’s ever-growing student population. This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) term appointment reporting to the department chair of Technologies. The Cisco Networking Academy faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction in networking and information technology courses as part of the Cisco Networking Academy program. The faculty member will prepare students for Cisco certifications and provide them with essential knowledge and skills in networking, cybersecurity, and related technologies. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities, and organizations. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers lectures to students on topics such as cisco networking and teaches departmental courses during the day (usually four or five days per week), during the evening (usually two nights per week), and occasionally on Saturdays.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates, and grades students' coursework, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom (tutoring), assists in the planning and implementation of the CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) plan at the department and program levels.</li>
<li>Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.</li>

The overall purpose of this job is to train to become a certified Tennessee police officer by completing recruit level police academy training in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the college.
Job Duties

<li>Patrols college grounds and adjacent areas on foot and in motor vehicle to deter crime.</li>
<li>Enforce Tennessee State Laws and policies and guidelines set by Southwest Tennessee Community College, the Tennessee Board of Regents, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Higher Education Act.</li>
<li>Conducts investigations into criminal activity, motor vehicle accidents, illness and injuries.</li>
<li>Prepare Police reports, motor vehicle accident reports, and reports documenting illness or injury.</li>
<li>Prepare records for court and testify at judicial hearings and trials.</li>
<li>Monitors and reviews security camera recordings to assist in investigations and to ensure safety for the campus community.</li>
<li>Provides direction and on the job training to contract security guards. Instruct contract security guards on proper patrol techniques, unlocking and locking college buildings, conducting basic investigations, report writing, and emergency plans and procedures.</li>
<li>Inspects college property for safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, unsecured doors or other unusual events.</li>

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

<li>The police officer is required to meet the physical standards set by the TN P.O.S.T. Academy and P.O.S.T. Commission.

The Executive Director of Off Campus Instructional Sites (OCIS) is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Dean of Academic Support and Operations. The Executive Director provides leadership, management, planning, and advocacy for all off-campus instructional sites. This position ensures that the OCIS are in compliance with SACSCOC standards, the college, TBR, and THEC policies. The Executive Director of OCIS will collaborate with other college offices to use institutional data to develop and implement strategies to increase OCIS enrollments and dual enrollment/dual credit offerings, especially in Fayette County, Millington, and Frayser communities. Additionally, the Executive Director will partner with campus offices to foster relationships with municipal partners such as chambers of commerce, k-12 school districts, and other community organizations. These relationships are intended to increase the College’s presence and meet the needs of municipal areas, especially in Fayette County, Millington, and Frayser.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Leads OCIS strategic planning initiatives.</li>
<li>Ensures OCIS programs are consistent with the mission of Southwest and that activation, assessment, and deactivation of OCIS offerings are done in accordance with college policy.</li>
<li>Tracks and analyzes student enrollment, retention, and performance data; uses data to make informed decisions regarding academic programs and resource management.</li>
<li>Ensures adherence to SACSCOC Standard 14.3 (Comprehensive Institutional Reviews) which outlines the expectations for on-campus instruction to apply to programs offered through OCIS.</li>
<li>Ensures selection of programs to be offered at an OCIS is the purview of the appropriate academic division which is expected to provide necessary and sufficient oversight of the program to ensure the currency of the program, its courses, and resources.</li>
<li>Ensures each OCIS program results in learning outcomes appropriate to the rigor and breadth of the credential awarded. Each program offered through OCIS has procedures in place to collect and review identified student learning outcomes and to identify program improvements based on the data collected.</li>
<li>Commits to supporting implemented programs for a period sufficient to enable admitted students to complete the program (as long as financially feasible).</li>
<li>Ensures that all OCIS students have access to relevant library resources to support the courses in which they are enrolled and provides access to library support services that closely approximates that offered to on-campus students as outlined in SACSCOC standards 11.1 (Library and Learning/Information Resources) and 11.3 (Library and Learning /Information Access).</li>
<li>Ensures that all OCIS students have access to the range of academic and student support services necessary to support their successful completion of an OCIS course or program as outlined in SACSCOC standard 12.1 (Student Support Services)</li>

Job Summary
The Career and Academic Community (CAC) Manager is responsible for implementation of the Southwest integrated academic and career advising model and the scaling, oversight and operation of the resultant Southwest Career and Academic Community program within their designated academic division. The Manager is accountable for the program’s efficacy as well as retention and persistence benchmarks established by college administration. CAC Managers play a critical role in collaborating with campus leadership; specifically, working across the student affairs and academic affairs divisions to ensure the delivery of high-quality collaborative programs and services that meet the needs of the College’s students. The CAC Managers work closely with the Director of Academic Advising and Career Services to identify best practices, inform ongoing professional development and training, manage advising technology platforms, and develop programs and processes that respond to emerging student needs. The CAC Managers collect and analyze data and maintain compliance with all applicable policies and laws.
Supervisory and Other Relationships 
CAC Managers report to the Director of Academic Advising and Career Services. They are annually evaluated by the Director in collaboration with the AVP of Enrollment Management. The position involves direct supervision and evaluation of three to five Academic Advisors / Student Success Advocates and oversight of the advising program for the designated academic division.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Support the development of recommendations, strategies and policies related to implementing a case management advising model for the college that aligns with Guided Pathways principles.</li>
<li>Oversee implementation of integrated academic and career advising model and resultant Career and Academic Communities program for assigned academic division ensuring consistent, high-quality service.</li>
<li>Administer programs to encourage students to seek advising each semester, engage in transfer opportunities, and explore employment options.</li>
<li>Supervise assigned team of academic advisors and provide strategic support for advising programming, case load management, technology, hiring, and staff training/development.</li>
<li>Complete annual evaluation and goal-setting activities for assigned staff.</li>
<li>Partner with Institutional Research and Effectiveness for an annual evaluation of the CAC program.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, evaluate, revise (as necessary) a professional development program based on the NACADA Academic Advising Core Competencies Model.</li>
<li>Review and analyze advising data in collaboration with fellow CAC Managers to make program/practice improvements.</li>

Job Summary
This is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Director of Financial Aid. The Financial Aid Specialist provides excellent customer service and counseling to students and parents regarding all types of Federal Financial Aid, State and Institutional Grants and Scholarships available to students attending Southwest Tennessee Community College. He/she may work some evenings and weekends as needed; have the ability to travel between two main campuses, site locations; and travel mostly within the state for attendance at professional meetings. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Administers the verification process and awarding of all Federal Financial Aid programs.</li>
<li>Counsels students and parents by assisting them through the financial aid application process.</li>
<li>Administers the verification process and awarding of all State of Tennessee Financial Aid programs.</li>
<li>Manages a case load in an accurate and timely manner which includes accountability in verification, paperwork, error rates; student and parent office visits, and other duties to meet team goals for accurate awarding and excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Maintains current knowledge of Federal Aid Program regulations; provides high standard of customer service when assisting students with problem resolution. Seek input from alternate authority if necessary.</li>
<li>Participate in Enrollment Services orientation and recruitment sessions on and off campus.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree with three years of Enrollment Services experience 
</li>
<li>Must have the ability to travel between two (2) main campuses, site locations; and travel mostly within the state for attendance at professional meetings. 
</li>
<li>Work evenings and weekends as needed. 
</li>
<li>A background check will be required for the successful candidate. 
</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of the guidelines and regulations pertaining to financial aid programs, including federal laws and regulations governing student-work programs. 
</li>
<li>Knowledge of organizational rules, regulations and procedures. 
</li>
<li>Skill in excellent oral and written communication. 
</li>
<li>Ability to efficiently organize, make decisions, prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently and as a team player within a highly computerized environment and with frequent daily interruptions. 
</li>
<li>Ability to analyze files for professional considerations. 
</li>
<li>Ability to understand, interpret and effectively apply federal regulations regarding administration of federal student aid programs. 
</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. 
</li>
<li>Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with an ever-growing College population and the public. 
</li>
<li>Ability to detect and correct grammatical and spelling errors in written correspondence. 
</li>
<li>Ability to maintain files accurately, in paper and in software programs. 
</li>
<li>Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software. 
</li>

Physical Demands
