Student Success Adviser

As an office of academic services departmental administrative assistant, you will promptly support student needs and respond to all questions. In initiatives and ongoing collaborative projects, you will support departmental leadership – including the senior vice president, vice president, and academic operations managers. Your responsibilities will include classroom scheduling, ELO and workshop scheduling, SCAD Day building preparations, and acting as the point of contact for physical resources. You will also manage incoming mail and routine correspondences, maintain an organized file/records system, and manage the calendars/schedules of department leaders.In this position, you are responsible for handling alumni and professional mentor visitations, including itinerary curation and travel arrangements. Greeting and directing visitors to appropriate areas and managing supply inventories and equipment maintenance will be required. You will manage display spaces to showcase student work by coordinating with the physical resources and housekeeping teams to make buildings student ready. As the administrative assistant, you will schedule department meetings, prepare agendas, reserve facilities, and record/transcribe minutes.
