College classes are taught at several area high schools using a variety of formats, (on-ground, virtual, online, and hybrid). Responsibilities for Dual Enrollment Instructors include: conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining records of attendance, evaluating student performance on assignments or lab activities, assigning mid-term grades, assigning final grades, utilizing faculty feedback, completing mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. Beyond teaching responsibilities, Dual Enrollment Instructors are also obligated to comply with and support college policies as set forth in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.

This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position for Dual Enrollment courses for High School Students. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes, providing quality instruction for student learning and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Although classes are offered in a variety of formats (virtual, online, hybrid, on-ground), we are prioritizing applicants who are available to teach on ground during the day and/or with our Dual Enrollment program. Responsibilities for Adjunct Instructors include conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining records of attendance, evaluating student performance on assignments or lab activities, assigning mid-term grades, assigning final grades, utilizing faculty feedback, completion of mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>

<li>The faculty member must be familiar with using a Learning Management System for conducting face-to-face and online classes. </li>
<li>The faculty member will be responsible for the coordinating, planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities, including overseeing all compliance requirements of the FAR Part 141 standards. </li>
<li>Managing agreements with flight training providers with the goal of increasing student completions in the pilot program. </li>
