Advises in-bound and out-bound students on all aspects of studying abroad/away including application and related paperwork, course registration, scholarship applications and the issuance on immigration paperwork for in-bound students. Manages the recruitment, selection and pre-departure/re-entry programs for out-bound students and the arrival/check-in program and orientation for in-bound students including the administration of any assessment related to learning outcomes and program-specific evaluation. Coordinates activities and events that promote study abroad/study away opportunities for students including but not limited to study abroad fairs and culture/country-awareness activities, including scholarship opportunities. Works closely with the leadership of the department and all program stakeholders to understand and interpret program goals (e.g. academic goals, intercultural competency goals, operational goals), to identify learning outcomes and metrics for ongoing program assessment; synthesizes and analyzes data gathered from students and faculty to enhance students' learning and program effectiveness.
