The Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) position assists in the repair and maintenance of the College’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other internal systems such as doors, keys and locksets. The College is seeking PM Tech’s to assist our trade supervisors in the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC. These duties include but are not limited to: working on door closers, hinges and doors, installing sheetrock, changing filters, greasing pumps, cleaning coils, changing belts, greasing and changing bearings, servicing pumps &amp; motors, repairing toilets &amp; sinks, and servicing/maintaining/tracking equipment and inventory relevant to the department. POSITION SUMMARY This position will provide directed administrative support to the various divisions within academic affairs and workforce and may at times be assigned to one division for a specified period of time to offer coverage and support as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform duties including answering phones, responding to phone/in person/email inquiries, screening calls, and handling related issues. Provide general office management and clerical assistance with copying, printing documents, filing, maintaining records, making phone calls, and processing incoming/outgoing mail, FedEx and UPS. Utilize various computer applications including but not limited to, Outlook Email and Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, BANNER, and SciQuest. Initiate and process office purchases, requisitions, monthly purchase reconciling, and payment services.
Maintain the academic sections of the college catalog in Acalog. Provide coverage and support for various divisions within Academic Affairs and Workforce Development. Maintain policy and procedure manuals for Academic Affairs, such as faculty handbook and day to day procedures. Assess inquires directed to the Division and determines the proper course of action, and delegates to the appropriate individual to manage the response. Prepare routine correspondence, reports, contracts, forms, and other documents. Greet and assist visitors and callers by providing information and/or directing them to the appropriate person. Serve as a receptionist for the office area. Assist with assembling information for various reports and projects.
Keep appointment schedule, arranging meetings and interviews as necessary. Make arrangements and prepares for travel, conferences, appointments, special events or other business activities. Analyze and interpret directives, policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. Determine type of data, forms, records, or methods needed and collects and/or compiles data. Compose routine and non-routine correspondence independently. Develop and maintain personnel, financial, statistical and other records. Maintain and order office supplies and other materials as needed. Coordinate workflow among offices or departments. May supervise student workers and/or temporary employees. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years’ experience in administrative support.

The Director TSBDC at JSCC will oversee the operations, budget, and strategy for the TSBDC in compliance with the TSBDC-JSCC Annual Contract and the TSBDC Strategic Plan. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of TSBDC programs to individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the TSBDC at JSCC’s territory. To effectively deliver services to a territory of this size, the director will oversee the offices and staff at the primary office in Jackson, Madison County. Overseeing the public outreach arm of JSCC, the Director supports the host institution through direct and indirect involvement in JSCC programs. The Director is required to travel throughout the service area and is responsible for establishing relationships with stakeholders in the new territory, maintaining existing partnerships in our traditional territory, ensure a positive and impactful presence from the TSBDC and JSCC in business communities throughout the territory and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Title: Student Resource Manager
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for assessing students’ non-academic needs and coordinating and developing holistic supports and services to meet those needs. Tracks and assesses student needs across all campuses, and partners with community organizations and the college foundation to provide supports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides student case management for services and referrals to both campus-based and community services, including mental health needs, health services, housing assistance, food insecurity and childcare for the College’s entire service region and campuses. Advises student support coordinator and student success advisors in creating and implementing student success plans. Identifies and develops partnerships with community agencies to build a structured system of coordinated supports for students. Develops and presents student support workshops and presentations. Provides information and workshops at student events.
Serves on the College’s Behavioral Intervention Team and assists with crisis planning and student intervention as needed. Upon request, provides information and recommendations to the Title IX Coordinator/Deputy Title IX Coordinator regarding available student resources/supports and assists Title IX officers with connecting students to resources/supports as needed. Utilizes student records systems to track students and student support service usage and success. Prepares reports and presents data regarding program usage and assessment to internal and external audiences. Oversees student support services budget and supervises the student resource coordinator. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field.
Experience working with a wide range of student or client population delivering direct support services.
One year of relevant work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic or Spanish
Prior work experience in higher education
Possess LCSW licensure
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to manage a caseload. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information. <h1>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</h1>

<li>Technical Diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education training with credentials in related field. A comparable combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered.</li>
<li>Minimum three (3) years of experience, including shop experience, in the Automotive Mechanics field within the last five (5) years.</li>

<li>Must possess computer skills.</li>

GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Automotive Technician Development Training (ATDT) class is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students to provide an accelerated education and career path for employment in the Automotive Mechanics field. Areas of instruction include tools and equipment and the diagnostics and service of batteries, electrical systems, engines, emission control, ignition systems, fuel injection systems, restraint systems, antilock brakes/traction control/stability control, air conditioning and detailed diagnosis and service. The ATDT Adjunct Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits and reports to the Director of the Clarksville Campus. Scheduled work hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
SALARY: $30.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
