POSITION SUMMARY This position provides a broad range of specialized laboratory support and guidance to full-time faculty and adjuncts for laboratory science courses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently under the direction of science faculty. Sets up supplies, materials and equipment for biology and chemistry laboratories, both for individual stations and for instructor-led demonstrations.  Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field or a bachelor’s degree with at least two of the following: GIS associate’s degree or technical certificate, two years full-time teaching, research or publications, or relevant additional coursework beyond a bachelor's degree. Qualifying fields include Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Geology, Forestry, Earth Science, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Urban Studies, Engineering, Planning, and Agriculture.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous on-line teaching experience. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of Arc GIS Pro and the ability to teach online using D2L/Brightspace.
