Job Summary
The purpose of this job is to provide support to the Office of Academic Affairs, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and other offices within the Academic college unit regarding budget matters, external contracts, faculty contracts, promotion and tenure processes, class schedules, academic-related student issues, and other academic administrative needs.
Job Duties

Physical Requirements This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions, and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications). Shift Will vary between 5:30am – 5:30pm, 6am – 6pm, 7am – 7pm, or 7:30am – 7:30pm, based on assigned IV room shift tag; 7 days on / 7 days off with some holiday requirements Job Summary The Inpatient Pharmacy Senior Technician is responsible for maintaining stock inventory, including participating in the ordering process and ensuring proper storage and dating; processing, dispensing and delivering patient specific orders to assigned areas with timeliness and efficiency; replenishing automated medication dispensing cabinets; assisting in the training of newly hired technicians, interns and student learners, and supporting the department with a patient-centered approach. Position is eligible for a sign-on bonus through 11/7/24. The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $18.50/hour. This position is responsible for duties related to the Toxicology Section of the UK Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory for diagnosis of illness in animals. The person in this position performs sample preparation (including tissue digestion, liquid and solid extractions, and other techniques).
