Job Summary

The Department of Management at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics seeks to fill one full-time, non-tenure eligible Lecturer position beginning August 1, 2025. This is a nine-month assignment to initially span two academic years and is renewable. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in management (or related field) or a master’s degree with 10 or more years of relevant industry experience. These lecturer positions involve teaching four courses per semester at the undergrad and/or master’s level with additional opportunities to teach in our executive education programs. Course responsibilities include, for example, organizational behavior, human resource management, leadership, strategic management, international business, or entrepreneurship. Depending on a candidate’s experience and interests, the position may also involve other duties such as curriculum-building, program management, or coaching students.
