MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Organizes and assists in the planning of the campus lab nursing student experience for all levels of the Nursing Department to include Nurse Aide, Practical Nursing, and Associate Degree Nursing Programs. Schedule and accommodate student usage of computer programs, videos, and equipment. • Assist with the organization and care of the lab space and equipment. • Set up campus labs for faculty instruction and skills demonstration and keep the labs organized and ready for the next class. • Maintain labs in a physically and environmentally safe and presentable manner, as well as adhere to all OSHA standards and college policies. • Assist in the ordering and maintaining of current inventory of supplies and in completing equipment requests. • Assist nursing director in budget and SNA preparation with needs of the labs. • Work with the HCC Bookstore to plan and oversee the purchase of nurse packets for students. • Teach at least one NAA 100 course or manage at least one clinical group per semester (depending on qualifications). • Participate as a tester in the Kentucky Nurse Aide testing on HCC campus as needed. • Attend nursing faculty meetings as available when not in student activities. • Perform other duties as assigned.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Automotive Technician Development Training (ATDT) class is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students to provide an accelerated education and career path for employment in the Automotive Mechanics field. Areas of instruction include tools and equipment and the diagnostics and service of batteries, electrical systems, engines, emission control, ignition systems, fuel injection systems, restraint systems, antilock brakes/traction control/stability control, air conditioning and detailed diagnosis and service. The ATDT Adjunct Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits and reports to the Director of the Clarksville Campus. Scheduled work hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
SALARY: $30.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
