Performs supportive clerical and a number of repetitious accounting duties that support the office and institution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Account for the DSCC Visa Credit Cards which involves verifying charges for compliance with DSCC and TBR regulations, checking for supporting documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.), notifying cardholder of problems, approving the credit card journal voucher entries, entering the credit card cash disbursement entry, extracting and comparing entries daily to assist the Financial Services Coordinator, assisting with the reconciliation of the Credit Card Payable account. Assist in opening the mail and date stamping; data entry of payables; verify receipts in Jaggaer for invoices with purchase orders and verify that Accounts Payable ACH Authorization information is correctly entered into the database.
Financial Services Coordinator: Assist with reconciling, closing and reversing entries and other applicable financial documents to help with financial statement preparation; assist as directed with the review, process and maintaining all travel authorization, encumbrances and claims; assist with AP bank drafts and keep up with the utility usage spreadsheet for all locations and help with keying journal vouchers and uploading them to BDMS.
Payroll Manager: Assist with scanning, filing, shredding and loading journal vouchers and other documents into BDMS; train to serve as a back-up payroll reviewer.
Comptroller: Assist with scanning, filing, shredding and loading journal vouchers and other documents into BDMS
Keep current on policies and procedures.
Receive and respond to related mail, phone calls and other inquiries timely and positively. Maintain physical and/or electronic documentation according to policy.
Assist with reconciling accounts; post, balance and code data; prepare related records, logs and reports.
Maintain and order supplies for the Business Financial Services office. Other duties as assigned by the Business Financial Services Coordinator.

Position Summary: Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Logistics and Supply Chain Management adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned coordinator/dean. General Description:
This regular, twelve-month, part-time (85%) position is responsible for assisting the Head Softball Coach with organizing and coaching the softball team and assisting the college with student and community engagement opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with the supervision of practices and games.
Provides instruction to student-athletes as directed by the head softball coach.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Actively encourages academic success and degree completion among student athletes. Monitors study hall attendance and faculty progress reports for student-athletes.
Assist with transport of athletic teams to and from games and tournaments.
Assists with the supervision of team activities.
Assists with equipment inventory and maintenance.
Assists with field maintenance and preparation.
Assists in coordinating fund raising activities following state and DSCC policies.
Participate in the annual athletic awards program.
Assists in maintaining program compliance with NJCAA and TCCAA eligibility criteria and reporting as requested by the head softball coach.
Serves as the website content manager for women’s softball.
Assist with student-athlete recruitment and retention under the direction of the head softball coach. &nbsp;
Plan and execute a yearly youth softball camp fundraiser in the summer. Work with the college public relations department each spring to plan appropriate and timely promotion the camp.

      Assistant Coach, Women's Softball
    

The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. Northwest TCAT – Ripley Campus is the home campus for this position. However, officers are occasionally required to perform duties and functions at other DSCC or TCAT campuses.&nbsp;

1. Performs foot and vehicle patrols of campus to preserve the peace and enforce the rules and regulations of the college, state, federal and local laws, directs and manages vehicular traffic, secures and unlocks campus areas as needed.

      Campus Police Officer-TCAT Stanton (Evening Shift)
    

The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. TCAT Stanton Campus is the home campus for this position. However, officers on occasion, may be required to perform duties and functions at other DSCC or TCAT campuses.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs foot and vehicle patrols of campus to preserve the peace and enforce the rules and regulations of the college, state, federal and local laws, directs and manages vehicular traffic, secures and unlocks campus areas as needed.
Responds to calls for service; investigates motor vehicle incidents, criminal offenses, and non-criminal incidents; and takes appropriate law enforcement or investigative action.&nbsp; Monitors and reviews security camera recordings to assist in investigations and to ensure safety for the campus community.
Conducts investigations of crimes or incidents committed or occurring on campus; seeks out and questions victims, witnesses, and suspects; develops leads and tips; searches crime scenes; analyzes and evaluates evidence; arrests offenders; prepares cases for giving testimony and testifies in court and disciplinary proceedings.
Assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors as needed and otherwise protects and serves. Assists with emergency planning for the campuses.&nbsp; Participates in emergency management and safety training and coordination. Conducts safety equipment checks as assigned.
