It is within the psychiatry emergency department where the APP manages the care aspects of the assigned patient’s stay from admission to discharge or transfer and also may play a role in the admissions process at ESH. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education and has a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe quality care.
