Ensures accurate and timely creation and maintenance and storage of all associated documents and records regarding training, environmental parameters, animal health monitoring, equipment maintenance, quality control, etc. Oversees and manages procurement and proper storage of husbandry supplies. Provides, on a rotational basis, holiday, after-hour and weekend coverage for husbandry related issues. Yes Preferred Education/Experience BA/BS in a relevant field (Animal Sciences, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, etc. or its equivalent); minimum of 6 years animal husbandry (laboratory animal husbandry preferred) or equivalent animal related experience directly related to the care, use, handling and treatment of animals in a paid position (i.e, work in pet stores, veterinary clinics, farm or ranch); AALAS certified LATg Driver’s license preferred.
