GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Floor Covering Installation class is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students to prepare them for employment in the Floor Covering Installation field. Areas of instruction include tools and equipment used in the flooring industry, safety, and installation of resilient, hardwood, tile and carpet. The Adjunct Instructor must prepare materials needed for course instruction; facilitate an engaging and focused learning environment; monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides training for non-credit health careers classes. Evaluates and reports program progress. Maintains communication with clinical partners. Establishes and maintains appropriate records for each student. Conducts or oversees clinical competency examinations, monitors student progress and maintains comprehensive records on student performance. Confers with and advises students on their clinical performance and progress.
Adheres to clinical training guidelines consistent with the assigned program’s didactic and clinical training content. Conducts and oversees clinical demonstrations and lab sessions. Maintains the quality of clinical training and its conformance to certification standards. Delivers training in accordance with approved course description, learning outcomes and schedule. Delivers training to a set curriculum plan with clear learning outcomes and competencies.
Prepares a course syllabus in advance of the course start date. Ensures that lesson plans and training materials for the full course are relevant and current. Conducts all class sessions at the scheduled time. Responds to student inquiries and provides feedback on student assignments promptly. Coordinates with other educators in the program to ensure curriculum continuity across courses. Adapts training techniques based on feedback from students and program stakeholders and implements sound pedagogical practices. Completes educator onboarding, relevant learning technology training and other training as needed or required. Complies with FERPA, HIPAA and other privacy laws and policies. Assists in development of new training program curricula as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in a related healthcare field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Allied Health Educator certification.
Instructional experience.
Experience with non-credit instruction and/or adult learning.
Prior experience training/teaching/presenting in an online environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery methods. Knowledge of current industry practices regarding course content. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with diverse faculty, staff and student populations. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use LMS systems for instructional delivery. Knowledge of FERPA and HIPPA privacy regulations and policies.
Demonstrated competency in a relevant healthcare or professional services field. Ability to design and implement lesson plans that align learning objectives with student outcomes. Ability to develop and adapt teaching and learning strategies to accommodate a diverse student population to promote the acquisition and application of knowledge. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to deliver content in non-traditional settings, including but not limited to hybrid, online and community-based settings. Ability to work days, nights or weekends to accommodate course schedules. Ability to travel throughout the College’s service area, including its seven campuses and other locations in the community where courses may be held.

Job Summary
This is a part-time temporary position working under general supervision of the Director of Student Advocacy &amp; Support. The part-time temporary Test Administrator provides various test services. He/she also provides operational support within the Testing Center. This position is expected to require 20 hours of work per week.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Provides testing services to students or clients by administering/proctoring exams following department procedures and manuals for each test.</li>
<li>Assists students with scheduling appointments for various tests.</li>
<li>Monitors computer lab when students are testing.</li>
<li>Loads test scores in Banner.</li>
<li>Receives requests for testing services.</li>
<li>Assists making copies, faxing, filing, mailing, and shredding documents.</li>
<li>Collaborates with Center for Access to provide testing accommodations to students.</li>
<li>Maintains and updates records and reports on computers as needed.</li>
<li>Explains individual test results to students and examinees.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent 
</li>
<li>Two (2) years academic coursework in a college or university; two (2) years general office experience; ability to communicate effectively with students and administrators; demonstrated supervisory ability and basic typing skills required 
</li>
<li>Reliable transportation to travel to Centers and other campuses as needed 
</li>
<li>A background check will be required for the successful candidate 
</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree

<li>Familiarity with and experience in proctoring large group tests</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

<li>Knowledge of database software; internet software; word processing software; and the ability to learn the student information system: Banner 
</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals. 
</li>
<li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals 
</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public 
</li>
