This staff member plays an essential role in departmental courses, in particular introductory and foundational courses (most notably SCRB 50, a molecular biology course with a CURE [course-based undergraduate research experience] lab component) taken by undergraduate students in the Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology concentration. As a painter, you will be responsible for identifying the proper paint system to be applied and making sure paint is approved by management, preparing surfaces by spackling, putting, wire brushing, stripping, calking, and correct cleaning methods to allow for proper adhesion, and applying paint with the right tools and techniques.&nbsp;In this role, you will inspect buildings for graffiti, advise your supervisor when emergencies occur or assistance is needed, be on call to handle emergencies, and follow&nbsp;all SCAD policies and procedures.
