The primary objective of this role is to ensure prompt and effective responses to end users while managing and improving infrastructure service-related queuing activities. This role actively contributes to the creation and upkeep of technical documentation and user-facing knowledge base articles while actively evaluating and optimizing service queue performance. In addition this role will also conduct independent reviews and analysis of ticket data to identifying trends, and implement continuous improvement measures. Salary Range: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00Minimum Education and/or Work Experience:Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling or related field required and one to two years of related experience.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Care for students (juniors, seniors, and transfer students in the School of Communication) through individual academic advising sessions, imparting a working knowledge of degree requirements and opportunities for students to achieve their academic, career, and life goals.</li><li>Assist, challenge, and support students in identifying and clarifying academic, career, and life goals and offer appropriate motivation and encouragement.</li><li>Be a proactive and constructive participant within an advising team dedicated to student success.</li><li>Accurately and efficiently communicate transfer credit and remaining degree requirements (Core, school-specific, and major requirements) for a timely graduation using online and off-line resources.</li><li>Understand, convey, and implement academic policies, procedures, and protocols to students, parents, faculty, and other stakeholders, while upholding FERPA requirements and the highest ethical standards.</li><li>Assist students in resolving administrative issues related to their academic records and assist with the various duties related to course registration issues.</li><li>Maintain and update student records, such as meeting notes, records relating to degree progress, correspondence, and other documentation when appropriate.</li><li>Prepare, deliver, and review graduation audits and audit checks for caseload of advisees.</li><li>Identify, monitor, and provide guidance to students on academic probation.
