POSITION SUMMARY
The medical assistant of the Student Health Clinic will work along with the nurse practitioner and another medical assistant to assist in patient care and administrative assistant duties. Job Summary
The MAINTech program aims to fill the employment gap between the current skill level of the available workforce talent pool and the current talent needs of local manufacturers. This program will provide entry-level talent: 1) employability/soft skills training, 2) basic technical skills often required by industry for entry-level positions, 3) Industrial Maintenance Technology training to cultivate a pool of new multiskilled technicians, and 4) a minimum of 144 on-the-job training hours over 6 weeks. The MAINTech Liaison will serve as the LEAD liaison for student and employer recruitment and assist program participants with navigating the advanced manufacturing pathways and collaborating with the instructor(s).




Job Duties:
• Serves as the lead liaison for student and employer recruitment for MAINTech and assists program participants with navigating the advanced manufacturing pathways and collaborating with MAINTech instructor(s). • Will organize and conduct community and industry outreach sessions promoting the need for multi-skilled technicians. • Aides the Workforce Solutions department in the design, development, marketing, and delivery of business &amp; industry training as it relates to MAINTech and related workforce development needs. • Facilitates comprehensive support to students by operating in a case management/high touch “culture of care” service role focused on retention management, outreach, intervention, and employment success; • Will maintain appropriate documentation and concise notes of participant and partner interactions, referrals, resources, and interventions relating to student and employer support and grant activity documentation. • Assists with the preparation of grant progress reports. • Other job duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for tracking and assisting students by providing holistic services from pre-enrollment to completion for a defined set of students with a primary goal of assisting them with overcoming barriers to their success in college.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build relationships with students to achieve their identified goals and objects. Review student progress and track student use of academic support services. Assist students in identifying factors that contribute to lack of academic progress, help students examine alternatives, and apply appropriate retention strategies to support students’ efforts. Maintain accurate tracking data and notes for each assigned student, recommending appropriate referrals and opportunity programs.
Support annual recruitment of new students. Create and conduct training sessions/workshops for students, faculty and staff. Assist with a developing and implementing a variety of institutional retention activities. Participate in new student orientation and first year experience activities. Utilize an SIS student records system and be able to function within a computerized office environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ experience working in a higher education setting with a diverse student body delivering direct support/services to students; OR
Master’s degree in education, higher education or closely related field with or without direct work experience in a higher education setting with a diverse student body delivering direct support/services to students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree from an accredited institution

Prior work experience at a community college

POSITION SUMMARY The Allied Health Educator is responsible for effectively developing, maintaining and providing health careers training for the College’s non-credit workforce programs, which include both continuing education for professional development and industry-recognized credential attainment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides training for non-credit health careers classes. Evaluates and reports program progress. Maintains communication with clinical partners. Establishes and maintains appropriate records for each student. Conducts or oversees clinical competency examinations, monitors student progress and maintains comprehensive records on student performance. Confers with and advises students on their clinical performance and progress.
Adheres to clinical training guidelines consistent with the assigned program’s didactic and clinical training content. Conducts and oversees clinical demonstrations and lab sessions. Maintains the quality of clinical training and its conformance to certification standards. Delivers training in accordance with approved course description, learning outcomes and schedule. Delivers training to a set curriculum plan with clear learning outcomes and competencies.
Prepares a course syllabus in advance of the course start date. Ensures that lesson plans and training materials for the full course are relevant and current. Conducts all class sessions at the scheduled time. Responds to student inquiries and provides feedback on student assignments promptly. Coordinates with other educators in the program to ensure curriculum continuity across courses. Adapts training techniques based on feedback from students and program stakeholders and implements sound pedagogical practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
